Being a Software Craftsman also comes with the responsibility to mentor and pass on your knowledge to less experienced peers. With our Software Craftsman program, we train graduates to learn software as a craft. It would be an advantage, if you like working with talented, typically younger colleagues and pass on your experiences. In our opinion, the peer-to-peer learning is one of the most satisfying parts of being a Software Craftsman – and so far, we have invested thousands of hours in the overall Craftsman program. Typically, you work in a team with one or more graduate colleagues, and here you will have the professional responsibility to ensure that we always deliver solid software craftsmanship.

We have high expectations for you and your craft

• You master the principles and methods of great software craftsmanship in any software stack.
• You have an agile mindset and can work on agile projects.
• You have the courage to learn and pursue personal development.
• You have good communication skills and are happy to share your vast knowledge.
• You can work independently and have good problem-solving skills.
• You have solid experience with eg .NET / C #, F #, SQL, NoSQL, REST API’s or Node.js.
• You have knowledge of protocols and patterns for message exchange.
• You understand test-driven development.
• You have knowledge of CI / CD and maybe DevOps.
• You may have worked as an architect, technical team-lead, Scrum Master or Product Owner.
• You may be familiar with frontend frameworks such as Angular, React and included tooling.
